If you are looking for a truly foolproof, fast and easy recipe to make delicious frozen treats, you have come to the right place! These Vegan Coconut Orange Creamsicles will, pretty much, be the best thing in your freezer this summer. I ain’t lyin’, they’re that good!

Vegan/Dairy free Orange Creamsicles

A delicious frozen treat that is easy to make, dairy free and no refined sugar? You ready?

I don’t remember how long I’ve been making these (years), or how I came up with the recipe (experimenting), but one thing is for sure, these creamy Vegan Coconut Orange Creamsicles are a staple in this freezer all summer long.

My daughter has been sensitive to dairy for several years, and I was on the hunt for treats she could eat. We aren’t vegan, but I found that the safest way to buy and order food out for her when she was super sensitive to dairy, was to look for “vegan” options. That way, I knew there was no dairy hiding anywhere.

When I find something that is yummy, quick and halfway not terrible for you, you betcha I will hold onto that recipe, and I bet you will too!

These creamsicles only contain natural fruit ingredients, and absolutely no added sugars of any kind, so you can feel good about treating yourself, and have no Mama guilt for treating your kids, either!

The Secret to a Truly Creamy Popsicle

Want to get let in on a little secret?

The reason this recipe can be called creamy, and I’m actually telling the truth, is because the special ingredient combo that actually keeps this popsicle recipe creamy, rich and melt in your mouth (pun intended).

The combination of the rich in fat, canned coconut milk, and the orange juice concentrate together, work some sort of magic and produce a softer, very creamy texture.

You can definitely make a popsicle with coconut milk and other fruits or ingredients, but I have yet to find one that results in a softer texture like this.

Do Orange Creamsicles have dairy?

Yes, traditional orange creamsicles do have dairy. But if you are looking for a dairy free substitute, make these amazingly creamy and delicious Vegan Coconut Orange Creamsicles that have just 3 ingredients!

What are Coconut Popsicles Made of?

Coconut popsicle recipes work best when you use a high fat content, canned coconut milk, not the kind of coconut milk you can buy in a carton in the fridge section. The higher fat actually helps the popsicles stay creamy and rich, not icy.

The other thing to add to coconut popsicles is some type of sugar. In this recipe I am using natural sugar from orange juice concentrate. Sugars help the concoction to stay softer.

How Do You Make Vegan Orange Creamsicles?

I’m so glad you asked! It is very, very simple, as you will see.

Step 1 – Combine frozen orange juice concentrate and canned coconut milk.

Step 2 – Blend until fully combined. An immersion blender is handy if you have one.

Step 3 – Add a small splash of vanilla extract and mix.

Step 4 – Pour mixture into popsicle mold and freeze for at least 12 hours.
